Hey community! This summer, we took some time to recharge, but we never really stopped.
Between new projects, inspiring collaborations, and the constant flow of creativity from our community, the feed kept buzzing with energy.
We’ve gathered a selection of the best posts shared on our Instagram over July and August. This is a snapshot of the stories and images that defined these past months.

1. 76X Slow-Mo Magic by @oltjp
Capturing extreme slow motion requires speed both in action and with the camera!
Using the Freefly Systems Ember S2.5K and Sigma Cine 18-35mm T2, this BTS clip shows how precise gear and fast moves create jaw-dropping results.
2. Students On Set Learning Virtual Production by @dptomkeller
Film student @nikita_kassel captures BTS and movie scenes with guidance from cinematographer and teacher Tom Keller, SCS BVK.
During a one-week Virtual Production Workshop, students explored working with LED walls. This was in collaboration with @hshammlippstadt and @filmuni Babelsberg. Meanwhile, the VFX class, mentored by Rico Dober and Philipp Möde, brought content to life with support from @the_vfxlab. A true hands-on learning experience shaping the next generation of filmmakers.
3. Cloning Talent for a Fashion Campaign by @simonbradley
Behind the scenes of a creative solution to populate an endless line of models for a fashion campaign on a tight budget. Using three camera positions per scene, the team captured both foreground and background plates. This approach was to showcase rain clothing being stress tested before release.
4. BTS and Final: Beats by Dre x Cole Palmer by @simonmaignan
Go behind the scenes of the Beats by Dre x Cole Palmer project, featuring notes from ice skating operator Simon Maignan.
5. Magnum x Porsche Commercial by @yusufbellii
Behind the camera of the Magnum x Porsche commercial: direction by @janwentz, cinematography by @jensmaasboel_dop, and production by @ridersfilm.
6. BTS + FINAL XXXLutz TV Commercial
Behind the scenes of the latest @xxxlutz_de campaign starring @matthiasschweighoefer, brought to life by @factoryvienna. Shot at @hyperbowl.studio in Munich, this commercial seamlessly blends LED volume, real-time 3D environments, and live-action performance. The result is an emotionally rich visual experience.
7. BTS + FINAL MV TỰ HỎI
Dive behind the scenes of the music video TỰ HỎI, directed and written by @lf.pvnirvana (Antiantiart). Featuring the talent of Nghệ sĩ @hongnhungbong and choreography by @tanlocdance, this project showcases creative storytelling and captivating performance from start to finish.
8. Sereva, A Papuan Tale, directed by Paolo Sodi
Explore the heart of Papua New Guinea through the eyes of ten-year-old Sereva. His dream of building a canoe unfolds against a backdrop of ancient traditions and lush rainforest. Directed by @paolosodi and produced by S.D. Cinematografica, this documentary is a journey into courage, roots, and the fragile beauty of a rarely seen world.

9. Durban July 2025
Bigbird Cinematography took to the skies to capture the annual Durban July in South Africa, streaming live to over 40 countries 🌍
10. BTS + Final Femisphere by @vincent_eckert_dp
Directed by Florian Reittner and shot by DOP Vincent Eckert, the production spanned 17 scenes in just 2 days, with 3 cameras, SFX rain, and 200+ people on set.
From building a rain sequence from scratch to managing 15 different setups, the team used Sony Dual ISO 12,800 and G-Master lenses to craft a deeply human and visually striking story.
